Seven members of the Students Federation of Thailand (SFT) led by chairman Anuthee Detchthewaporn on Wednesday afternoon went to the US embassy in Bangkok to submit a letter to the US government.
Mr Anuthee said the student federation wants the US government to review its policy to provide support for the Thai armed forces because the provided assistance was used for suppressing the Thai people who were calling for freedom and democracy.
The petition was received by an embassy official.
