The government will today propose that the April 10 bloodshed case be investigated by the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban said on Friday.
“The government wants the Saturday clashes between troops and the red-shirt protesters to be made a special case and to be handled by the DSI,” said Mr Suthep, head of the Centre for the Resolution of the Emergency Situation (CRES).
The government will also authorise nine state agencies to work with the DSI to look for the “terrorists” who used war weapons to kill soldiers and red-shirts on Saturday, the deputy premier added.
