Puea Thai Party chairman and former prime minister Chavalit Yongchaiyudh said on Sunday that he had yet talked to Puea Thai members Panlop Pinmanee and Jatuporn Promphan, after both of them had different views on the red-shirt United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship's anti-government activities.
Earlier this week, Gen Chavalit rejected Internal Security Operations Command former deputy director Panlop's offer for him to be supreme commander of the 'national people's army for democracy'.Red-shirt core member Jatuporn later said Gen Panlop's plan to set up the people's army to fight for a true democracy was not a resolution of the UDD."I believe Gen Panlop and Mr Jatuporn can sort out their misunderstanding since they are adults," Gen Chavalit said.He said the rift between the two opposition party members would be resolved if they remained considerate and calm.
